Logo Color Schemes

Analogous:

BP uses the analogous color scheme of green, yellow and yellow-green. I think the company probably chose these colors is to show they are environment safe.

Jamba Juice uses the analogous color scheme of yellow, yellow-orange and yellow-green. I think the company probably chose these colors is to show that they have many different fruity flavors.

Complementary:

Fanta uses the complementary color scheme of orange and blue. I think the company probably uses these colors to represent there orange flavored soda and how it's also refreshing.

Chili's uses the complementary colors of red and blue-green. I think the company probably chose these colors to represent a red pepper which is also apart of their logo.

Warm:

McDonalds’s uses the warm colors of red and yellow. I think the company probably chose these colors to represent that there food is hot meaning cooked fresh.

Red Bull uses the warm colors of red and yellow. I think the company probably chose these colors because it has to deal with being an energy drink.

Cool:

Ocean Spray uses the cool color of blue. I think the company probably chose this color because it represents water and it’s refreshing.

Twitter uses the the cool color of blue. I think the company probably chose this color because it shows that the app is a fun and chill.

Monochromatic:

Animal Planet uses the monochromatic color of green. I think the company probably chose this color because it wants to show that it’s a channel based on earth and it’s environment.

A&W uses the monochromatic color of brown. I think the company probably chose this color because it’s the same color as rootbeer.

Triad:

The Superman logo uses the triad color scheme of red, yellow and blue. I think they chose these colors because Superman has many different qualities about him that make him a superhero.

Burger King uses the triad color scheme of red, yellow, and blue. I think the company probably chose these colors because it shows that there food is hot and fresh and tasty as well.

Bounce

Overview  In this project we were to create 3 different animations. The first one was just a red ball jumping up and down, then the second was a ball bouncing across the canvas. Then last the last one could be whatever we wanted with a surprise emding. How to do it First we had to make a background for the project then make many copies of a ball and make it bounce. We used the command, option-drag key a lot to copy items. Once we copied the balls we had to move them around to make it look as if they were bouncing. Next we created the animation and we had to go frame by frame until thr animation was complete. Conclusin I think this project was very successful and fun to do. If I did it again I would pay more attention on frames and come up with a better surprise animation.

Semester 2- Graphic Design

This semester in graphic design has been filled with many fun and creative projects. One of my favorites was the vector project. While working in Adobe Illustrator we had to recreate a picture of us using the pen tool to create different shapes and colors. This project took about 2 weeks to complete. The first thing we had to do was find a picture, then vectorize it in Adobe Photoshop to see all the different color to create the finished project. This project was not that hard just very time consuming. At first I didn't know where to start on the but once I did it was pretty easy. My vector isn't very detailed like others but ended up still being good.  My second favorite project, is the most recent, the name logo. I really liked this one because I had the freedom to do whatever I wanted. At first we had to sketch at least 30 different designs just to get us started. Then we chose our top 5 that we liked. After we traced all 5 into Adobe Illustrator it was now time fo...

Advanced Feature Story

https://youtu.be/JgqRJiUuWbs This project we were challenged to do another feature story and improve from the last one. My group and I decided to make our story about a foreign exchange student, Louis Lambert. Louis is a member of the international club, played soccer for the school and will tryout later this spring for tennis. On one of the first days for this project my team came up with questions. This part was so easy because there was just so much we wanted to ask him. In the end we had about 30 or so questions. The hard part was trying to find a part to film and work around everyone's schedule. We ended up filming Louis during 7th hour but it was hard to find b-roll. For b-roll we just used stock footage of things from France and pictures and videos from his Instagram. This project was very hard to edit because we had so much to talk about but not enough footage. Overall the project was pretty hard because my team didn't communicate very well and nothing really got don...
