For my self portrait video I decided to film a dance team morning practice. In the video they were reviewing new flag choreography we had just learned. I chose to incorporate the dance team because dance is a huge part of my life. I have been dancing from such a young age and it's something that I love to do. A lot of people already know that I dance but they don't actually see what practice is like. Another self-portrait that I enjoyed was Alex Pauli's, he played The Office theme song on the piano. At first it started off at a normal pace and then it kept getting faster and faster and I was really impressed. The piece captured my attention the whole time and when it came to an end I wanted to keep watching it. On my self-portrait I really couldn't control the lighting because I was in the school gym.
