How To Print

For this project we were told to create a project on How To Print. The first step was to pictures of the scenes we were going to shoot and put them on a storyboard and show the teacher. But even before that we had to learn about photography. We learned about the rule of thirds the 180 degree rule and the 6 different shots of photography. After we created the storyboard and Mrs. Zimmerli gave us tips on how to make the scenes better.

Next we had to actually record the scenes. For the project my partner, Ava, was the actor and I was executive producer and director. We both had a hard time coming up with on how to start the video. As you can see we figured it out in the first scene in the video above. We also had to shoot the scenes out of order because there were other groups recording too. It took us about 45 minutes to finish recording.

After we recorded we had to learn how to use an editing app called Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017. We watched a video that was on Google Classroom about the basics of the editing app. It wasn't very hard to understand what to do. The hard part was keeping it as close to 30 seconds and choosing specific scenes because we recorded many different ones. When we were done choosing the videos we had to cut out the audio and choose appropriate music to go along.

In conclusion I thought this project was really fun. I learned a lot from that I can defiantly use in the future.

Bounce

Overview  In this project we were to create 3 different animations. The first one was just a red ball jumping up and down, then the second was a ball bouncing across the canvas. Then last the last one could be whatever we wanted with a surprise emding. How to do it First we had to make a background for the project then make many copies of a ball and make it bounce. We used the command, option-drag key a lot to copy items. Once we copied the balls we had to move them around to make it look as if they were bouncing. Next we created the animation and we had to go frame by frame until thr animation was complete. Conclusin I think this project was very successful and fun to do. If I did it again I would pay more attention on frames and come up with a better surprise animation.

Semester 2- Graphic Design

This semester in graphic design has been filled with many fun and creative projects. One of my favorites was the vector project. While working in Adobe Illustrator we had to recreate a picture of us using the pen tool to create different shapes and colors. This project took about 2 weeks to complete. The first thing we had to do was find a picture, then vectorize it in Adobe Photoshop to see all the different color to create the finished project. This project was not that hard just very time consuming. At first I didn't know where to start on the but once I did it was pretty easy. My vector isn't very detailed like others but ended up still being good.  My second favorite project, is the most recent, the name logo. I really liked this one because I had the freedom to do whatever I wanted. At first we had to sketch at least 30 different designs just to get us started. Then we chose our top 5 that we liked. After we traced all 5 into Adobe Illustrator it was now time fo...

Vector

For this project we had to choose a portrait of a family member, pet or our self and recreate it in Adobe Illustrator. After choosing the picture we wanted we had to put it in Adobe Photoshop first. We cropped the image and posterized it to whatever number you wanted. We had to posterize it to see the different highlights and shadows on our picture.      The hardest part about this project was trying to differentiate all the shadows and highlights on the body. I only did the ones that seemed the most important to me. I decided to really simplify my vector down because tracing every different thing looked weird to me. I think my favorite part about my vector is the eyebrows, eyes and the raven on the front of the outfit. Those really turned out great. Overall I think this is one of my favorite projects so far in graphic design. After finishing this one I wanted to create another vector right away. Just watching it all come together was really co...
